Installing the Printer and Drivers
Setting up the Phaser 380 GX printer driver
Refer to the on-line manual on the printer’s CD-ROM.
1. Select Chooser from the Apple menu after installing the printer’s
software.
2. Click on the icon of the Phaser 380 GX printer driver (on the left side
of the Chooser).
3. Click on the Zone for your printer. See your network administrator if
you have questions.
4. Select your printer from the list of printers on the right side of the
Chooser
. If it is not in the list, check your hardware connections and
which zone you have selected in the Chooser.

In the Connect via field’s pop-up menu, select your printer’s
communication method:
AppleTalk Standard network connection
Servers Shared desktop printer

Click Create to create a desktop printer. An icon of the printer
appears on the desktop.
7. Close the Chooser.
