6. Slide the printhead to the right side of the printer and repeat the
adjustment for the right end of the printhead to the right end of the
drum. (The printhead moves easier if the X-axis motor is
disconnected from J19 of the power control board.)
7. Torque the adjust screws to 20 in/lbs.
8. Connect the printhead’s data ribbon cable to the printhead. Inspect
both ends of the data ribbon cable to ensure they are properly seated.

Refer to the topic “Printhead-to-drum spacing adjustment” on
page 9-16 to set the gap between the “hot” printhead and the drum.
10. Perform the procedure “Adjusting the vertical interleave (scan shift)”
on page 9-34 and “Adjusting the horizontal image interleave (skip)”
on page 9-32.
