Field Replaceable Unit Disassembly/Assembly

Power control board

1.

Turn off the printer and remove the power cord.

2.

Remove the right-side cover as explained in the earlier topic, “Cabinet
panels and covers” on page 8-4.

3.

Remove the network card and its frame. It is held in place to the
printer’s back frame by six screws.

4.

Remove the main board. It is secured to the printer back frame by two
screws.

5.

Disconnect the two power harnesses leading to the power supply on
the right-side of the printer frame. Remove the power supply. It is
secured to the printer back frame by two screws.

6.

Disconnect the wiring harnesses leading to the power control board.
