Ink loader support/cross member
Turn off the printer and remove the power cord.
1. Remove the left-and right-side panels and the top panel as explained
in the earlier topic, “Cabinet panels and covers” on page 8-4.
Caution If a significant layer of dust has accumulated on the ink loader
support, vacuum the dust off before removing the support. This
prevents dust from falling into the ink reservoirs and onto the face
of the printhead.
2. Remove the two screws securing each end of the ink loader support to
the printer frame.
3. Grasp and gently remove the ink loader support.
Reverse these steps to reinstall the support.
