Field Replaceable Unit Disassembly/Assembly

Vacuum system

Vacuum pump

Turn off the printer and remove the power cord.

Remove the right-side panel as explained in the earlier topic, “Cabinet
panels and covers” on page 8-4.

Remove the main board and network card and frame. Refer to the
later topic “Circuit boards” on page 8-62.

Disconnect the wiring harnesses leading from the vacuum pump to
J16 of the power control board.

Disconnect the vacuum hose leading to the accumulator.

Pull the pump assembly off of pins securing it to the frame of the
print engine.
