Distance to go
The
Distance to go
in the console is measured from the ship to the last waypoint.
ETA
The ETA shown in the console area and in the Route plan dialog box is calculated using
either the current (actual) Ship speed for the remaining distance or the Ship speed for the
current leg and the Planned speed (inserted by the user in the Leg SOG column) for the
remaining legs.
To insert the planned speed for each remaining leg, left click on the relevant Leg SOG cell
and set the SOG value.
When the
Ship speed
is toggled on in the Route plan dialog box, the ETA calculation is
made using the ship speed to the final waypoint.
When the button is toggled to
Planned speed
, the ETA calculation is made using the ship
speed for the current leg and the planned speed value for each remaining legs.

Note:
In the picture above, planned speed values are used to calculate ETA.
Waypoint ETA
The console panel
WP ETA
displays the ETA at the selected waypoint.

Select the appropriate waypoint number.
•
Toggle on Planned speed or Ship speed for the calculation of ETA.
Target linked to a route
One AIS target can be linked to a route.
1.
Right click on the target to open AIS target menu.
2.
Choose the option
Link with route
.
3.
Select the route. A yellow square point out the target and route is displayed in green.
Target is linked to the route. The route plan can be displayed as it is for the own ship. The
same values are given, Bearing, Range.... TTG and ETA are indicated for planned speed.
The route is unlinked by
Deactivate linked route
of the Target menu or when target
arrived to the last waypoint.

Note:
Route plan cannot be used as activated route for Own ship.
