Delete a target
To delete a target, right click on the target icon and select
Delete
on the pop-up menu.

Note:
Only manually created targets can be deleted.
Target properties
To view a target’s properties, right click on the target and select
Properties
from the list.
•
Target ID: Unique identity of the target
•
Target name: Target name
•
Latitude: Latitudinal position
•
Longitude: Longitudinal position
•
Bearing: Bearing of the target from the ship
•
Range: Range of the target from the ship
•
Vessel type: Type of target
•
CPA: Closest point of approach of the target to the ship
•
TCPA: Time of closest point of approach of the target to the ship
•
Course: Course of the target
•
Speed: Speed of the target
Manual target
You can create manual targets and keep their dead reckoning. These manual targets are
managed the same way as normal targets acquired from the ARPA.
1.
To plot a manual target, click on the
Set target
button on the toolbar

Place the cursor at the desired position and click. Targets will be drawn to the same color
code as described above.

With the
Target properties
dialog box adjust the target latitude and longitude values, if
necessary, and set its course and speed, if applicable.
Target prediction
To predict the position of the ship and any targets, press the
Target prediction
button on
the toolbar.
The
Target prediction
dialog contains a time slide bar (in minutes).
