Expanding square option
To expand the square, follow the steps below.
1.
Click the
By Cursor
button to manually select the start point of the route. The position of
the ship can also be plotted as a route directly on the chart.
2.
Select the
Direction of Search
field and in the
Drift
tab, choose
Direction
.
3.
In
Drift
tab, select the
speed to proceed the route
.
4.
Select the
search area
filed and choose
Radius of search
.
5.
Select the
space between leg
and choose
Route spacing
.
Parallel line option
Plot an area with Object Editor tools.
1.
Select the area.
2.
Right click on the button Create route.
3.
The start point of the route is either the closest point located on the edge of the area from
the ship either selected manually by pressing the button By cursor and plotting the
starting point directly on one edge of the area.
4.
Select the speed to proceed the route in the Drift panel.
5.
Select the space between leg with the parameter Route spacing.
