Click the
F-Distance
button to set or adjust distances to start turn for the ship. The
Distance
to start turn
table of distances dependent from the ship speed, which is used to calculate
WOL position. Parameter is very important to setup properly to reach precise steering.
Alert settings
Course difference limit for starting, degree
It is the limit of difference between ship heading and active leg course which makes
impossible to activate TCS. Use the
Back on track
function to build temporary route, which
makes possible to join the planned route using TCS function.
Low speed limit, kn
The parameter is used to trigger alarm in case TCS is active and vessel speed is less then
specified threshold. Meaning that autopilot is not able to provide proper steering quality
under specified conditions.
Heading monitoring threshold, degr
The parameter is used to monitor two GYRO values. Alert is triggered in case the difference
exceeds the specified threshold.
Position monitoring threshold, m
The parameter is used to monitor two GPS positions. Alert is triggered in case the difference
exceeds the specified threshold.
XTD calculation while turning
•
Select
XTD from ROT curve
when using (new) autopilot type which needs XTD
calculation during turning not from turning curve.
•
Select
XTD from straight line
, using (old) autopilot type which needs calculation from
straight line.
F-Distance
Use the
F-distance
button to display the
Distance to start turn
dialog and modify the
settings of turning distances accordingly:
Back to track function
