To suppress the overlay of the radar video on top of the chart, press the 

F5

 key and select the

No overlay

 option from the list.

The Radar panel contains buttons and menus which provide the following functionality:

•

Select radar source

•

Activate radar overlay option

•

Adjust the radar parameters

•

Initiate and stop the tracking of targets

•

Define an automatic acquisition zone in front of the ship

•

Adjust the ship's position and compensate eventual gyro drifting

Display settings

To show the Radar picture on top of the chart, click the 

Overlay

 menu.

The Radar picture does not hide any chart information and is displayed in a transparency
mode. According to the regulations, the Radar picture is displayed between two chart layers,
and essential chart information (land contours, lights, and buoys, etc.) is displayed on the top
of the Radar picture.

To adjust the radar parameter and display options, click the 

Settings

 button.
