Electromagnetic brakes have a physically caused delayed reaction time on release. As a

result, the motor may start while the brake is still applied, causing the FC to fail and

indicate an overcurrent error. This release time can be taken into consideration by

parameter P114 (brake control).

During release time, the FC supplies the absolute minimum frequency (P505), thus

preventing starting of the motor with the brake still applied.

Also refer to the parameter >Brake application time< P107 (sample setting).

Note:

If the brake release time is set to "0", P107 also applies as brake
release and application time.
