5.16 Connector Conversion Box F9GT-HCNB
5.16.1 Outline of Product
The connector conversion box F9GT-HCNB allows to use the handy GOT (excluding the RH model) for
RS-422 connection with attaching it or without attaching it on the panel face. In addition, the F9GT-
HCNB functions as a relay box, and converts the 25-pin D-Sub connector of a connected external cable
into a connector and terminal box for connecting the PLC, power supply and switches.
5.16.2 Name of Each Part
The figure below shows the name and function of each part of the connector conversion box.
• Front face
a) Connector for Handy GOT (25-pin D-sub, female)
Connects the Handy GOT with an external cable.
b) Power switch
Supplies the power to the Handy GOT while it is ON.
c) Mounting hole (for M3 screw)
Allows to fix the connector conversion box directly on the panel face or using a metal fixture.
• Rear face
d) Terminal block for operation switches
Connects the operation switches SW1 to SW4 of the Handy GOT.
e) Terminal block for power supply and emergency stop switch
Connects the power supply (24V DC) and emergency stop switch (ES1) of the Handy GOT.
f) Connector for PLC (9-pin D-sub, female)
Connects the PLC with a cable.
