Easy-entry/exit feature
The easy-entry/exit feature allows you to
get into and out of the vehicle more easily.
The steering wheel swings upwards and
the driver’s seat* moves back when you
switch off the ignition and open the driver’s
door or remove the key from the ignition
lock.
i
The steering wheel only moves upwards if it
is not already at its uppermost position. The driv-
er’s seat only moves backwards if it is not al-
ready in its rearmost position.
The steering wheel and the driver’s seat*
are moved to the position previously set
when you insert the key into the ignition
lock if the driver’s door is closed, depend-
ing on your settings.
i
If you pull away, the adjustment procedure
is interrupted.
The steering wheel or seat position* is
stored when you turn the key from position
2
to
1
in the ignition lock or when you store
or set a memory position.
You can set the easy-entry/exit feature
using COMAND (

page 208).
