The yellow ESP
®
warning
lamp, the red brake sys-
tem indicator lamp and
the yellow ABS warning
lamp are lit while the en-
gine is running. You also
hear an audible signal.

Risk of accident
The electronic brake-power distribution
function (EBV) is malfunctioning and
PRE-SAFE ® is therefore unavailable. The
brake system continues to function normal-
ly, but without electronic support. The
wheels could therefore lock if you brake
hard, for example.

Visit a qualified specialist workshop im-
mediately.

ABS, ESP ® and therefore also PRE-SAFE ®
have been deactivated due to a malfunc-
tion. The braking system remains available
with full brake boosting effect but without
ABS.
