COMAND TV*
You can connect an external video source
(AUX) to COMAND. Please consult a
Mercedes-Benz Service Centre for further
information.
Automatic picture shutoff
If the vehicle is travelling faster than ap-
proximately 6 km/h, the picture automat-
ically switches off. The following message
appears in the display for a short while: “In
order not to distract the driver, the picture
is faded out while the vehicle is in motion” .
As soon as the vehicle speed drops below
about 3 km/h, the picture switches back
on again.
Switching to video AUX mode

Select “Video” “Video” “Aux” .
The video AUX menu appears.
You will hear and see the medium in the
external video source if this is connect-
ed and switched to playback.
