You can disable control of the rear side windows
from the driver’s seat (

When PRE-SAFE
®
has been activated, the
side windows close automatically but remain
slightly open.
The rocker switches for all side windows
are located on the driver’s door. There is
also a rocker switch on each door for the
window in that door.
Side windows

Risk of injury
Stay away from the side window during the
opening procedure, otherwise you could be
caught or trapped between the side window
and the door frame by the downwards move-
ment of the window. If danger threatens, re-
lease the rocker switch or press the rocker
switch a second time to close the side win-
dow again.

Make sure that nobody can become trapped
as you close a side window. If danger threat-
ens, release the rocker switch or press the
lower section of the rocker switch to open
the side window again.

Risk of injury
Never leave children unsupervised in the ve-
hicle. Always take the KEYLESS GO key with
you when leaving the vehicle, even if you are
only leaving it for a short time.
Do not leave children unsupervised in the
vehicle, even if they are secured in a child
restraint system. The children could:

injure themselves on parts of the vehicle
앫
be severely or even fatally harmed by
prolonged exposure to intense heat
앫
press the central locking button and
thereby release the child-proof locks
and open the door
If the children open the door, they could:
앫
injure other people
앫
get out of the vehicle and thereby injure
themselves or be injured by a passing
vehicle
Activate the child-proof locks on the rear
doors (
컄
page 51) and deactivate the rear-
compartment window controls (
컄
page 52)
when children are travelling in the vehicle.
The children could otherwise open doors or
windows while the vehicle is in motion and
thereby injure themselves or others.
