If COMAND is able to assign the post-
code unambiguously to a specific ad-
dress, the address input menu appears
again. The address data is automatical-
ly entered. You can now start route cal-
culation (

page 158).
If COMAND cannot assign the postcode
unambiguously to a specific address, the
address input menu also appears again.
The postcode is automatically entered.
You can now enter the street for a more
precise location (
컄
page 151). Only
streets in the area covered by the entered
postcode are available.
Entering a road name

If you have entered the name of a centre and
then enter a road name, this will delete the cen-
tre name. You can only enter streets that are
stored on the digital map.

Select “Street” in the address input
menu.
The display shows the street list either
with input characters or without input
characters (

page 152). Whether or
not the input characters are displayed
depends on how many road names are
available for the town selected.
