Select “Options” “Call” .
The telephone* makes the call.

To do this, COMAND must be equipped with
a telephone* and the SMS function*. The mobile
phone must be inserted into the bracket. SMS
functions are not supported by all mobile
phones.

only works if the address data
field contains complete data.
Subsequent operation will depend on how
complete the address data items are and
whether they agree with the data in the
digital map in the navigation system. They
do not correspond, for example, if they are
not written in the same way as the destina-
tion entry.

The navigation system begins route calcu-
lation after you select “Navigate” .

The navigation system can only perform the
route calculation process when the country, the
town or postcode, the road name and, if appro-
priate, the house number are entered correctly.
The entries for the town and road name must be
identical with the destination entry.
The country can be written as follows:

In the language of the country concerned
앫
In the language set as the system language
앫
As an international country code for vehicles
(e.g. D for Germany, E for Spain, F for
France, I for Italy, etc.)
After “Navigate” is selected, a message ap-
pears stating that the address is incom-
plete.

To close the message: select “OK” .
Depending on which data is missing or
does not correspond with the digital map
data, you must now:

select a country or

enter a town or

enter a road name or

enter a house number
