A WARNING
In correct Tire Inflation:

the tires to the c o rrect p ressu re (page
10-6).
Inspect all tire pressures m onthly
(including the spare) w hen the tires are
cold. M aintain recom m ended pressures
for the best ride, top handling, and
m inim um tire wear.

W arm tires norm ally exceed
recom m ended pressures. D o n ’t
release air from w arm tires to adjust
the pressure.
U nderinflation can cause reduced
fuel econom y and poor sealing o f
the tire bead, w hich w ill deform the
w heel and cause separation o f tire
from rim .
O verinflation can produce a harsh
rid e and a greater possibility o f
d am age from road hazards.
K eep y o u r tire pressure at the
correct levels. If o ne frequently
needs inflating, have it inspected.
