R aise the w iper arm and turn the blade
assem bly to expose the plastic locking
clip.
C om press the clip and slide the
assem bly dow nw ard; then lift it off the
arm.
2. H old the end o f the rubber and pull
until the tabs are free of the m etal
support.
R em ove the m etal stiffeners from the
b lade rubber and install them in new
blades.
A CAUTION
D o n ’t bend the stiffeners. You need
to use them again.
If the m etal stiffeners are sw itched,
the b lad e ’s w iping efficiency could
be reduced.
So d o n ’t use the driv er’s side m etal
stiffeners on the p assen g er’s side, or
vice versa.
B e sure to reinstall the m etal
stiffeners in the new blade rubber so
that the curve is the sam e as it was
in the old blade rubber.
