If you have a problem w ith the
im m o b ilizer system o r the key, consult an
A uthorized M azda Dealer.

CAUTION
To avoid dam age to the key, do not:
♦ D rop the key.
♦ G et the key wet.
♦ E xpose the key to any kind o f
m agnetic field.
♦ E xpose the key to high
tem peratures on places such as
the dashboard or hood, under
direct sunlight.
W h en starting the engine, do n ot let
the follow ing m aterials tou ch the
key grip. T he e ngine m ay n ot start:
♦ Spare keys.
♦ Keys for other vehicles equipped
w ith an im m obilizer system .
♦ M etal objects that touch or pass
through the hole in the key.

T he keys carry a unique electronic
code. For this reason, and to assure
y o u r safety, replacem ent keys
req u ire som e w aiting tim e to obtain.
T hey are only available through an
A uthorized M azda Dealer.
A lw ays keep a replacem ent key, in
case one is lost. If a key is lost,
contact an A uthorized M azda
D ealer as soon as possible.
If you lose a key, an A uthorized
M azda D ealer w ill reset the
electronic codes o f y o u r rem aining
keys and im m o b ilizer system .
S tarting the vehicle w ith a key that
has not been reset is n ot possible.
▼ Modification and Add-On
Equipment
M azda cannot guarantee the system ’s
operation i f the system has been m odified
or i f any add-on equipm ent has been
installed to it.
