Reporting Safety Defects
If you believe that y o u r vehicle has a defect w hich could cause a crash o r could cause
injury or death, you should im m ediately inform the N ational H ighw ay Traffic Safety
A dm inistration (N H TS A ) in addition to notifying M azda M otor C orporation (Your M azda
Im porter/D istributor).
If N H T S A receives sim ilar com plaints, it m ay open an investigation, and if it finds that a
safety defect exists in a group o f vehicles, it m ay order a recall and rem edy cam paign.
H ow ever, N H T S A cannot becom e involved in individual problem s betw een you, your
dealer, o r M azda M otor C orporation (Your M azda Im porter/D istributor).
