into the vehicle seat. B e sure the belt
retracts as snugly as possible. C licking
from the retracto r w ill be heard during
retraction i f the system is in the
autom atic locking m ode. If the belt
does not lock the seat dow n tight,
repeat this step.
N O T E
Inspect this function before each use o f
the child-restraint system . You should
not be able to pull the shoulder b elt out
o f the retracto r w hile the system is in
the autom atic locking m ode. W hen
y ou rem ove the child-restraint system ,
b e sure the belt fully retracts to return
the system to em ergency locking m ode
before occupants use the seat belts.
