S tro n g sig n a l noise
T his occurs very close to a transm itter
tower. T he b roadcast signals are
extrem ely strong, so the result is noise and
sound breakup at the radio receiver.
W hen a vehicle reaches the area o f two
strong stations broadcasting at sim ilar
frequencies, the original station m ay be
tem porarily lo st and the second station
picked up. A t this tim e there w ill be som e
noise from this disturbance.

T he tape head, capstans, and pinch rollers
w ill g ather o xide resid u e from cassette
tapes. T his can cause w eak or w avering
sounds and dam age to the cassette tapes
and player. U se a good quality head-
cleaning tape o r a liq u id cleaner cassette
tape to rem ove it.
S hould the unit not operate norm ally,

N ever attem pt to repair it or insert a
screw driver or anything else.
