C arbon M onoxide:
E ngin e exh au st is dangerous. This g as contain s carbon m on oxide (CO), w hich is
colorless, odorless, a n d poisonou s. W h en inhaled, it can cau se loss o f consciousn ess
a n d death. I f yo u sm ell exh au st g as inside y o u r vehicle, k e ep a ll w indow s fu lly open
a n d co n ta ct a n A u th orized M azda D ea ler im m ediately.
E xhau st Gas in E nclosed A rea:
R u n n in g the engine inside an en closed area, su ch a s a garage, is dangerou s. E x h a u st
gas, w hich contain s p o iso n o u s carbon m onoxide, cou ld easily e n ter the cabin. L oss o f
consciou sn ess o r even death cou ld occur. D o n ’t ru n the en gin e w hen inside an
en closed area.
Idling w ith the W indows Closed:

the engine ru n n in g f o r a lon g tim e in an open area, exh au st gas, w hich contain s

death cou ld occur. O pen the w indow s o r a d ju st the heatin g o r cooling system to draw
fr e s h air.
