A CAUTION
W h en using the air conditioner w hile
driving up long hills o r in heavy traffic,
closely m onitor the tem perature gauge
(page 5-21).
T he air conditioner m ay cause engine
overheating. If the gauge indicates
o verheating, turn the air c onditioner
off.
N O T E
W hen m axim um cooling is desired,
set the tem perature control d ial to
the extrem e cold position and set
the air intake selector sw itch to the
recirculated a ir position, then set the
fan control d ial to the position 4.
If w arm er air is desired at floor
level, set the m ode selector sw itch
at the
c l
position and adjust the
tem perature control d ial to m aintain
m axim um com fort.
T he air to the floor is w arm er than
air to the face (except w hen the
tem perature control d ial is set a t the
extrem e h ot or cold position).
▼ Ventilation
1. Set the m ode selector sw itch to the
position.
2. Set the air intake selector sw itch to the
outside air position (indicator lig h t off).
3. Set the tem perature control d ial to the
desired position.
4. Set the fan control d ial to the desired
speed.
