3. T he in d icato r light flashes once every 3
seconds to indicate that the system is
fully arm ed. It continues to flash until
the th eft-deterrent system is turned off.
▼ To Turn off an Armed System
A n arm ed system can be turned off by
p ressing the ' h button on the keyless
entry system transm itter. If the transm itter
d o e sn ’t w ork, unlock the driver’s door
w ith a key. O pen the door and w ithin 15
seconds, p ut the key into the ignition and
turn it to the O N position. If it takes
longer than 15 seconds the alarm w ill
sound.
N O T E
T he trunk lid can be opened w ith the
key or the transm itter even w hen the
system is arm ed. T h e alarm w ill not
com e on and the system w ill rem ain
arm ed.

▼ To Stop an Alarm
A triggered alarm can be turned off by
o pening the trunk lid w ith the key or
p ressing the ^ button or the
button
on the k eyless entry system transm itter. If
the transm itter d o e sn ’t w ork, put the key
into the ignition and turn it to the O N
position.
