S pilled B rake Fluid:
S p illed brake f lu id is dangerou s. I f it
g e ts in y o u r eyes, they c o u ld be
seriou sly injured. I f this happens,
im m ediately flu s h y o u r eyes w ith
w a ter a n d g e t m ed ic a l attention.
Brake f lu id spilled on a h ot engine
cou ld cause a fire . Be ca refu l n o t to
sp ill brake f lu id on y o u r s e lf o r on the
engine.
L ow B rake/C lu tch F lu id Levels:
L o w brake/clutch f lu id levels are
dangerou s. L ow levels cou ld sign al
brake lin in g w ea r o r a brake system
leak. Your brakes c o u ld f a i l a n d cause
a n acciden t. I f y o u f in d a low flu id
level, have the brakes a n d clutch
inspected.

CAUTION
• B rake and clutch fluid w ill dam age
painted surfaces. If b rake o r clutch
fluid does get on a painted surface,
w ipe it o ff im m ediately.
• U sing nonspecified b rake and clutch
fluids (page 10 -4 ) w ill d am age the
system s. M ixing different fluids
w ill also d am age them .
If the brake/clutch system
frequently requires new fluid,
consult an A uthorized M azda
D ealer.
If the fluid level is low, add fluid until it
reaches M A X .
B efore adding flu id , thoroughly clean the
area around the cap.
