T his feature helps to find a pro g ram by
playing about the first 10 seconds o f each
track.
Press the scan button ( SCAN ) during play
to start scan play operation (the track
num ber w ill flash).
Press the scan button ( SCAN) once again
to cancel scan play.

If the unit is left in scan, n orm al play
w ill resu m e w here scan w as selected.
R e p e a t p la y
T his feature m akes it possible to listen to
a selection repeatedly.
Press the repeat button ( RPT ) during
play. T he current selection w ill be
repeated ("RPT" w ill b e displayed).
Press the repeat button ( RP T ) once again
to cancel repeat play.
R a n d o m p la y
T his feature allow s the M D player to
random ly select the order o f the songs.
Press the ran d o m button (RDM ) during
play. T he next selection w ill b e random ly
selected ("RD M " w ill b e displayed).
Press the random button ( RDM ) once
again to cancel ran d o m play.
C h a n g in g th e M D d isp la y
To change the M D display during M D
play, press and hold the display button
( DISP ) for a bout h a lf a second to advance
through each o f the follow ing displays:
■Song title >Disc title *No display

I f there is no song o r disc title recorded
on the M D , "NO T ITL E" w ill be
displayed.
L o n g d isc o r so n g titles
W hen disc or song titles exceed 10 letters
o r num erals, press the display button
( MS P ) to display the rem aining part o f
the title.
