D riving w ith Wet Brakes:
D riving with w et brakes is dangerou s.
In crea sed sto p p in g d istance o r the
veh icle p u llin g to one side w hen
b ra k in g c ou ld resu lt in a serious
acciden t. L ig h t b raking w ill indicate
w h e th er the brakes have been
affected. Dry the brakes by drivin g
very slow ly a n d a p p lyin g the brakes
ligh tly un til brake perfo rm a n ce is
norm al.

LSetting th e p a r k in g b r a k e
D epress the brake pedal, then pull the
brake handle fully upw ard.
R e le asin g th e p a r k in g b r a k e
D epress the brake pedal, then p u ll the
handle up and press the button. L ow er the
h andle to the release position w hile
holding in the button.

T his w arning has the follow ing functions:
P a r k in g b r a k e w a rn in g
T he light com es on w hen the parking
brake is applied w ith the ignition sw itch
in the START o r O N position. It goes off
w hen the parking brake is fully released.
