Enabling NTDP on an interface

Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
2.
Run:
interface
interface-type
interface-number
The interface view is displayed.
3.
Run:
ntdp enable
NTDP is enabled on the interface.

(Optional) Configuring the range of topology collection
1.
Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
2.
Run:
ntdp hop
max-hop-value
The range of topology collection is configured.
By default, the value is 3 hops. The greater the value is, the more memory is occupied.

(Optional) Setting the delay in forwarding NTDP packets
1.
Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
2.
Run:
ntdp timer hop-delay
hop-delay-time
The hop delay in forwarding NTDP packets is set.
3.
Run:
ntdp timer port-delay
port-delay-time
The interface delay in forwarding NTDP packets is set.
By default, the hop delay is 200 ms and the interface delay is 20 ms.

The system view is displayed.

The interval for collecting topology information is set.
By default, the interval for collecting topology information is set to 0 minutes, that is,
topology information is not collected regularly.
