This part describes how to configure the Neighbor Discovery Protocol (NDP) to collect
information about directly connected neighbors.

Enabling NDP in the system view
Do as follows on the administrator switch and member switches:

Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
2.
Run:
ndp enable
By default, NDP is not enabled in the system view.

Enabling NDP on an interface
Do as follows on the administrator switch and member switches:
1.
Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
2.
Run the following command as required:

ndp enable interface

NDP on an interface is enabled in the system view.
