Configuring the receiving filter settings.
(1) Under [Acceptance Filter] , tap the [ID] box, and then enter a filter ID.
The instrument blocks a message of a bit whose filter ID does not match the ID bit of each signal.
Bits whose bit mask to which the character X has been set pass all messages.
The bit mask automatically calculates a code and mask.
(2) Tap the [Blockall] button to set it to [On] or [Off] .
Off  Passes all messages.
On
Blocks any messages.
[Blockall]

[Extension acceptance Filter]
is set to
[Off]
.
(3) Tap the [Code (HEX)] box, and then enter a filter code.
(4) Tap the [Mask (HEX)] box, and then enter a filter mask.
Example 1 Code: arbitrary, Mask: 000
Passes all messages.
Example 2 Code: 001, Mask: 7FE
Passes messages only with the ID whose first bit is one or zero (ID = 0, ID = 1).

(1) Under [Extension acceptance Filter] , tap the [ID] box, and then enter a filter ID.

(2) Tap the [Blockall] button to set it to [On] or [Off] .
Off  Passes all messages.
On Blocks any messages. [Blockall] of [Acceptance Filter] is set to [Off] .
(3) Tap the [Code (HEX)] box, and then enter a filter code.
(4) Tap the [Mask (HEX)] box, and then enter a filter mask.

Tap [OK] .
The [Acceptance Filter/Extension acceptance Filter] dialog box appears.
