(When you choose
[Exponential]
in the
[Window]
box)
Tap the
[Attenuation ratio]
box, and then enter an attenuation rate.
0.1%
to
99.9%
Noise superimposing on attenuating waveform is mitigated.

Tap the
[Compensation]
box, and then choose a compensation method for an attenuation
from the list.
The instrument compensates an attenuation of a calculation result for effect of the use of a non-rectangular
window function.
None
Does not compensate any attenuation for effect of the use of a window function.
Power
Compensates an attenuation for effect to correct energy of time-domain waveform to
an equivalent level of energy generated when multiplied by a rectangular window.
Average
Compensates an attenuation for effect to correct an average of a time-domain
waveform to an equivalent level of an average calculated when multiplied by a
rectangular window.
Choosing
[Rectangular]
in the
[Window]
box fixes a correction value to a factor of one (0 dB).
