Configuring Dual Sampling Settings
Trend waveform and instantaneous waveform
• Recording trend waveforms can immediately start by pressing the
START
key.
Instantaneous waveforms, which can use the memory division, are recorded into a different block
one after another every time the instrument is triggered.
Even if blocks run out for recording instantaneous waveforms, the instrument continues to record
waveforms until the recording length specified for trend waveforms elapses.
Example
When an instantaneous waveform is recorded with 2-memory-division setting
The waveform is recorded into two or fewer blocks.

Once the recording of trend waveforms finishes, recording of instantaneous waveforms is also
finished.

For repetitive measurements, the instrument clears waveforms every time it finishes recording of
trend waveforms, and then restarts recording waveforms from the beginning.
At this time, instantaneous waveforms are also recorded from the start block. You can stop
recording by pressing the
STOP
key
Example
When pressing the
STOP
key during the third measurement of instantaneous waveform
recordings with the recording mode set to repeat and the number of the memory division set to
