Configuring the Input Channel Settings
8
Tap the
[Variable]
button to set it to
[Off]
or
[On]
.
Off
Does not use the variable function but the
[Magnification]
box and the
[Zero position]
button to adjust the waveform positions.
On
Uses the variable function.
See “3.3 Adjusting the Waveform Display Positions (Variable Function)” (p. 60).
You can use the
[Variable]
button when
[Fix grid]
is set to
[On]
.
See “13 Configuring the System Environment Settings” (p. 309).
If
[Variable]
is set to
[Off]
, tap the
[Magnification]
box, and then from the list, choose a
magnification.
You can choose a magnification in the direction of the vertical axis (voltage axis).

.
See “13 Configuring the System Environment Settings” (p. 309).
If
[Variable]
is set to
[Off]
, tap the
[Zero position]
button, and then set the zero position.
You can specify where the zero-volt level is on the vertical axis.
Waveforms are magnified/demagnified with respect to the zero position. Although ranges of voltage shown on
the waveform screen vary according to the magnification, the measurable ranges do not vary. Besides, input
signals are not DC-biased but merely moved visually.

Switch the channels.
Tap the corresponding location to switch the channels, and then set the measurement conditions by following
the procedure described above.

Configuring the digital filter setting for each channel. (Model MR6000-01 only)
The
[Df]
setting is displayed for only channels with
[Digital filter]
set to
[On]
, allowing you to configure the
digital filter setting for each channel.
For more information, refer to “Setting the Digital Filter Calculation” in MR6000-01 Dedicated Functions.
