The unit uses a lithium battery as power for storing measurement conditions.
10.3 Discarding the Unit
• To avoidelectric shock, turn off the power switch and disconnect the
power cord, probes, and fixtures before removing the lithium battery.
• When disposing of this unit, remove thelithium battery and dispose of
battery and unit in accordance with local regulations.
• If the protective functions of the unit are damaged, either remove it
from service or mark it clearly so that others do not use it inadvertently.
Tools to Prepare:
• One Phillips screwdriver
• Pair of tweezers
1.
Remove the six screws from the sides of
the unit.
2.
Remove the case.
3.
Insert the tweezers between the battery
and battery holder as shown in the dia-
gram below and lift up the battery.

and -. Doing so may cause
sparks.
