Arc
This causes a curved line of user-defi nable thickness to be drawn anti-clockwise between start angle
and (start angle + arc angle). The origin (‘centre’) of the arc is (X po 1/2 Width) ; (Y po 1/2
Height). Arcs cannot be fi lled.
Notes:
1 Angle increases anticlockwise
2 Height = 2/3 width if measuring in percent
3 Arcs cannot be fi lled - the shading in the fi gure is included for clarity only

EXAMPLE
An arc defi nition of:
X position = 50%, Y position = 50%, Width = 50%, Height = 50%, Start angle = 0; Arc angle 270 would
produce the curve depicted in fi gure 7.4.20b, below.
