A typical message entry would be:
Message: Lowest temperature is {1} at chan {2}
Replace {1} with: Specifi ed Value
{1} source: Group 1 minimum
Replace {2} with: Specifi ed Descriptor
{2} source: Group 1 Minimum
resulting in a message such as:
22/08/08 14:22:06 Lowest temperature is 790.00 Units at chan Temp 3.
where ‘Units’ is the text entered in the Group Minimum maths channel confi guration, not that for the input
channel, although typically, they would be the same.
Note: The Group confi guration checkboxes for maths channels with ’Minimum Channel Descrip-
tor’ selected, are ‘greyed’ thus preventing such channels from being used as inputs to their own
source group. See
section 4.3.2
for Group confi guration details.
