MONTHLY MAINTENANCE PROCEDURE
The following steps are to be performed in the sequence in which they are presented. Failure to do so may
result in personal injury or damage to the equipment.
The Monthly Maintenance Procedure is to be performed at the end of each twenty (20) working days of
operation or at least every one-hundred and sixty (160) hours of operation, whichever comes first.
The Monthly Maintenance Procedure includes the previous listed Daily Maintenance Procedure prior to
performing the following.
Tools and Materials Required to Perform Descaling
•
Any Commercially Available Descaler
•
A Long Handled Brush with long, soft bristles
•
Hose and Spray Nozzle
performing a descaling cleaning process.
The descaler is an acid base solution
which neutralizes the scale build-up when
introduced in solution form. In this
process, descaling solution dissolves the
scale residues. All scale residues must be
removed. A high residue content will
harm a rosin process.
2
If tap water is used in the final rinse
section, perform the descaling procedure
on the entire system, and verify that the
final rinse spray nozzles do not contain
mineral deposits. If they do have scale
build-up, it will be necessary to swap the
final rinse and prewash manifolds to allow
descaling solution to circulate and clean
out the residue build-up. Reinstall the
final rinse and prewash manifolds into
their respective locations immediately
after cleaning.

the Aquastorm 200™
for scale build-up.
The scale build-up in these areas is a
result of hard water deposits and other
natural water minerals present in most
water supplies. In addition to these
natural deposits which can have high
sodium content, build-up of detergents,
saponifiers, surfactants, fluxes and oils
which are introduced in many cleaning
processes, also contribute to the scale
build-up in these areas. These deposits
are high in alkaline and must be removed
periodically. This can be done by
