CONFIGURING A REPLACEMENT
TEMPERATURE CONTROL
Use this procedure only when configuring the
present temperature control for degrees C or
when replacing the temperature control.
Refer to the Configuration Mode Chart on page

for the procedure that follows.
Read the following procedure in its entirety before
performing the procedure.
2.2
TO ENTER
CONFIGURATION MODE
1
Turn off power to the temperature
controller.
2
Turn on power to the controller back on;
within the first 30 seconds of activating
power to the temperature control, press
and hold the Function
F
and Raise
Keys simultaneously until the lower digital
display reads "
" (this takes
approximately five [5] seconds).
NOTE
Any time a change is made in the
Configuration Mode and saved, it
effects all Setup Mode values, thus
it will be necessary to reset all
Setup Mode values. If only viewing
the options in the Configuration
Mode and not saving any changes,
all Setup Mode values will remain
the same.
3
Once the current input code is selected,
the user may then step through the
Configuration Mode parameters using the
Function
F
Key. For each parameter, the
lower display will show a mnemonic
identifying that parameter. The upper
display will show the current value/setting
of that parameter.
Adjust the value/setting if required, by
pressing the Raise
or Lower
Keys.
As soon as the value/setting is changed,
the upper display will flash, indicating
that the new value/setting has yet to be
confirmed (saved) [flashing is inhibited
during actual adjustment].
4
When the value/setting appears correct
on the display, it may be confirmed (saved)
by pressing the RESET Key.
Do so if the changes made are correct.
If the changes made are not correct, set
them correctly using the Raise
or
Lower
Keys, then press the RESET
Key to save the changes.
The upper display will become static.
5
Repeat the necessary procedures in steps
3
and
4
for the remaining Configuration
Mode values/settings, then proceed to
step
6
.
NOTE
When exiting the Configuration
Mode, the four (4) decimal points
on the upper digital display will
illuminate if any changes were
made which had been saved. This
will indicate if it is necessary to
change the Setup Mode values.
