Proper Position of the Float Switch Mechanism
Inside the Tank When Correctly Installed
Float Mechanism
NOTE
The float switches are sealed
around the threads with silicone.
When replacing the float switch,
it is necessary to first clean off
the old silicone from the threads
of the tank wall. Apply fresh
silicone to the threads of the float
switch fitting. After the float
switch has been installed, apply a
smoothed bead of silicone around
the fitting flush with the cabinet
wall to ensure water leaks will not
be present.
Allow at least 24 hours
for the silicone to cure before
refilling the wash or rinse tanks.

Replace the defective float switch with
a new one, reference

6-1679-050-011-1
, after applying
fresh silicone (Reference

) to the threads of the float
switch.

wrench.
To reinstall the float switch, screw the
fitting into the bulkhead in the clockwise
direction.

Check the interior of the tank to verify
proper positioning of the float switch.
Proper positioning should allow the
float mechanism on the switch to hang
downwards, to permit vertical
movement during operation.
10
Plug the male, 2-pin connector on the the
replacement float switch, into the female,
2-pin receptacle for the float switch being
replaced.
11
Reinstall the system front access panels.

24 hours), reactivate power to the

™
at the facility power
safety disconnect.
13
Press the Main Power On ontrol via the
custom interface keypad to activate
system power.
The system fill solenoids for each of the
tanks activate automatically on system
power up if tank fluids are below make
up.
When the tanks reach make up levels,
the tank immersion heaters become
enabled.
14
Verify operation of the replacement float
switch(es).
