Start-Up and Operation 3-19

Conveyor On

Press the Conveyor On control to activate power
to the conveyor. When pressed the following
occurs:

•

The green Conveyor On indicator
illuminates to indicate the conveyor is
enabled.

•

The Conveyor Forward On indicator
illuminates to indicate conveyor
movement is in the forward direction.

•

The conveyor operates in the forward
direction at the speed presently displayed
on the LCD under "SETP."

The conveyor will not operate in any direction
without the Conveyor On control activated.

An asterisk appears in front of the word
CONVEYOR on the LCD when the conveyor is
operating.

Conveyor Off

Press the Conveyor Off control to stop conveyor
movement.

The red Conveyor Off indicator
illuminates to indicate power to the
conveyor is disabled.

Conveyor Forward

The Conveyor Forward Control is an on indicator.
When the green indicator is illuminated, it is an
indication that the conveyor is operating.

If the conveyor speed set point has already been
set via the LCD interface keypad, the conveyor
starts to move in the forward direction at the set
speed.

Conveyor Reverse

Press the Conveyor Reverse control to operate
the conveyor in the reverse direction.

The green LED on the Conveyor Reverse
control illuminates when the conveyor is
operating in the reverse direction.

When operating in reverse, the conveyor operates
for a fixed time at a fixed speed, then stops
conveyor operation. When the conveyor stops,
the Conveyor Off red indicator illuminates to
indicate the conveyor is off.

Pressing the Conveyor Off control while operating
in reverse immediately stops conveyor movement.

To abort reverse operation and immediately revert
to the forward direction, simply press the
Conveyor Forward control.

Conveyor Reverse is recommended for use, only
if a conveyor jam has been detected. Temporary
operation of the conveyor in reverse direction
will allow the conveyor jam to be removed.
