3-32 Start-Up and Operation

1.8 CONFIGURING THE TIMER
This procedure explains in detail, how to set the
timer to Start, Stop, and Enable or not Enable
for each day of the week. Follow this procedure
in the order outlined to set the Timer.
NOTE The timer is based on the system's
internal clock. Be sure that the
correct time is set on the internal
clock. See SYS_CLOCK on page
three (3) of the Configuration
Screen. See page 3-28 for system
clock setup.
1 While in the Main Screen Menu, press the
MENU key on the LCD interface keypad
twice to access the Timer Screen.
The Timer Configuration Screen is
displayed on the LCD.
2 Press the Up or Down arrow keys on the
LCD interface keypad to move the square
cursor to the day requiring editing.
3 Press the Left or Right arrow keys to
move between START, STOP, and
ENABLE fields, depending on which is to
be edited.
NOTE The START time must be set to
a time prior to the STOP time.
4 When the square cursor is in the required
position, press the number keys to enter
the required START and STOP times (in
military time; i.e. 17:00:00 = 5:00
p.m.).
5 Once the required START or STOP time
has been entered, press the ENTER key
on the LCD interface keypad to accept the
value entered.
6 Under the ENABLE field, press the
ENTER key on the LCD interface keypad
to toggle between YES and NO - YES to
Enable the timer for that day - NO not to
enable the timer.
NOTE If an incorrect number
entry has been pressed,
use the Left and Right
arrow keys on the LCD
interface keypad to back
space, then reenter the
correct number.
7 Repeat steps 2 - 6 for each day of the
week.
8 Press the MENU key on the LCD interface
keypad when complete to return to the
MAIN Screen.
