9 Turn the sensitivity adjustment screw

This completes the sensitivity
adjustment.
10 Perform the Photo Sensor Alignment and
Adjustment Procedure to verify sensitivity
while
a PWA present in the photocell
path, then adjust if necessary.
11 Repeat the Alignment and Sensitivity
Adjustment Procedures as necessary.

Sensitivity Adjustment
1 Make sure the photocell emitter and
reflector are kept clean for optimum
performance.
The photocell emitter may require
periodic sensitivity adjustment.
2 Turn on the facility power main disconnect
for the Aquastorm 200 ™ .
3 Press the Main Power On Control to
activate system power.
The Main Power On indicator
illuminates to indicate power is active.
4 Press the Photocell On Control to
activate the photocell option.
The green indicator illuminates to
indicate the photocell is active.
5 Remove any objects obstructing the
emitter path.
6 Observe the green LED on the photocell
emitter.
The green LED on the photocell
emitter should illuminate green
with normal
movement around the
entrance end of the conveyor.
If the photocell emitter’s LED flashes
between green and red, this indicates a
need to increase sensitivity.
7 Turn the sensitivity adjustment screw
on the photocell emitter in
1
/
4
turn
increments, in a clockwise direction
until the green LED remains
illuminated.
8 Now turn the sensitivity adjustment
screw counter clockwise in
1
/
4
turn
increments, slowly, until the LEDf l a s h e s
between red and green.
This adjustment determines the point of
sensitivity.
