Sensitivity Adjustment

Make sure the photocell emitter and
reflector are kept clean for optimum
performance.
The photocell emitter may require
periodic sensitivity adjustment.

Turn on the facility power safety
disconnect for the Aquastorm 200™.

Press the
Power On Control via the
Membrane Keypad.

Remove any objects obstructing the
emitter path.

Observe the green LED on the photocell
emitter.
The green LED on the photocell emitter
should illuminate green with normal
movement around the entrance end of
the conveyor.
If the photocell emitter's LED flashes
between green and red, this indicates a
need to increase sensitivity.

Turn the sensitivity adjustment screw on
the photocell emitter in
1
/
4
turn
increments, in a clockwise direction until
the green LED remains illuminated.
7
Now turn the sensitivity adjustment screw
counterclockwise in
1
/
4
turn increments
slowly, until the LED flashes between red
and green.
This adjustment determines the point of
sensitivity.
8
Turn the sensitivity adjustment screw
1
/
4
turn clockwise.
This completes the sensitivity adjustment.

Perform the Photo Sensor Alignment and
Adjustment Procedure to verify sensitivity
while a product is present in the photocell
path, then adjust if necessary.
10
Repeat the Alignment and Sensitivity
Adjustment Procedures as necessary.
