4-60 Maintenance

Tension Adjust Screw

3-Strand Belt

Blower Motor Pulley

Blower Pulley

Slotted Access Holes

Turn Pulley to Align Slotted

Holes with Hex Head Bolts

BLOWER WITH BELT COVER REMOVED

(Configuration Shown with a 3-Strand Belt)

Use a

" socket with

" drive

ratchet with 2.0" extension to loosen
the four (4) hex head bolts behind the
blower motor pulley.

Loosen the bolts only enough to allow the
blower motor to slide opposite the
direction of the blower housing.

Turn the tension adjust screw clockwise to
increase belt tension or
counterclockwise to decrease belt
tension.

Turn the tension adjust screw slowly in the
direction required to increase or decrease
the belt tension.

When proper belt tension is achieved,
tighten the four hex head bolts behind
the large motor pulley securely, using
a

" socket with

" drive ratchet with

2.0" extension.

Replace the belt guard, making sure the
belt guard gasket is in place on the guard.

Re-install the two (2)

-20 x

" socket

head cap screws which retains the belt
guard, then tighten securely using
a

" Allen wrench.

Re-install the blower manifolds, then
secure them with the hose clamps.

Tighten the hose clamps securely using a

" nut driver so as not to allow air

leakage while the blower is in operation.

Install the turbine blower rear access
panels.
