WARNING:
If ISOLATED SIGNAL I/O is set to "TEST!", a warning message is displayed: (!) CHECK D.U.T.
SPECS.
When enabling this test, users must be sure the data interfaces being tested are
fully isolated
. Otherwise,
severe damage to the DUT
could result when AUX1 is activated during the test. If in doubt, contact
the DUT manufacturer or supplier for guidance.
Datrend Systems Inc. will not be responsible for damage resulting from incorrect application of this test.
UNGROUNDED
METAL:
This parameter is not shown on the menu for AAMI-ES1 as there is no
requirement in that standard to test lead leakage while connecting floating
metal parts on the DUT to the ground. However, this test condition is a
requirement for testing per IEC60601.
Options are "DO NOT TEST" (default) or "TEST". This parameter
determines whether the AUX2 output of ES601-US will be connected to
ground of the AC supply.
AUX2 is intended to connect to floating exposed metal on the DUT.
Therefore, this button enables a supplementary test condition for patient
leakage tests per IEC60601. The expected result is the patient leakage is
unaffected by connecting such metal parts to ground, since the metal is
supposed to be electrically isolated.
ESCAPE:
Aborts leakage measurement and returns to MANUAL MODE menu. No
leakage test data will be copied to the Clip Record.
NEXT:
Advances ES601-US to the next step of the leakage test.
If PATIENT LEADS is set to "DO NOT TEST", Sequence Controls for manual leakage testing will be
displayed when the NEXT button is pressed. If PATIENT LEADS is set to "TEST", a setup menu for the
patient leads is displayed when NEXT is pressed:
