than the AC supply. In the Direct Method, the DUT is powered by the AC supply, and patient leakage is
determined by connecting isolated patient leads to AC supply only (Type B non-isolated leads are not
tested). For VDE0751 and IEC62353 standards, the "IEC60601 method" means the DUT is powered by
the AC supply and patient leakage is determined by connecting patient leads either to mains or to ground
(Type B parts will be tested).
The Alternate method of leakage measurement can only be used with Type F
Isolated Leads.
8.6.23 Test Point-to-Point (IEC61010)
Clicking this check box enables measurement of Enclosure Leakage Current from one arbitrary point on the
DUT enclosure to a second arbitrary point. The point-to-point enclosure connections are made via jacks
AP1 and AP2 on ES601-US. This test is pertinent to the IEC61010 standard only.
8.6.24 Uploading AutoSequences
To upload Safety AutoSequences to ES601-US, press the “Upload To ES601" button. Choose either
uploading via USB, Ethernet, or Serial Port, and then press "Connect". If the connection is via ethernet,
enter the IP address assigned to ES601-US (the IP address of ES601-US is displayed on the LCD when the
analyzer is operating in Ethernet Mode). If the connection is via serial port, choose the COM port to which
the ES601-US is connected (
