8.4 Backup and Restore
In addition to the
Exit Program
and the
Help
buttons on the application window, a
Backup And Restore
button is provided. When changes are made with the various Editors, the changes are saved immediately, as
the changes are made. There are limited cancel or undo features available within the Editor utilities.
In order to allow the user to save current configurations of the numerous AutoSequences, the
Backup And
Restore
function allows the user to save the configuration as it exists on entry to the ES601pc-US program.
Each
Backup
created through the Backup and Restore feature is identified by date and time in a listing,
making it easy to select a particular configuration for restoration. After a
Restore
operation, AutoSequences
and other configuration data can be uploaded into the memory of ES601-US.
Making changes to any AutoSequence before a Backup is created will make
the original AutoSequence unavailable, requiring the user to manually
re-input the original settings for the AutoSequence if the original settings are
later desired.
